The easiest way I found so far to do a quick check on how the website I am working on appears in some of the most popular mobile devices is through the latest versions of Google chrome. So just browse to your website and then hit F12 to open the Developers Tools. Then hit Esc and choose Emulation. There you have plenty of options, from devices, sensors screens etc.
